www.lf.net/lf/pi/oracle/install-linux-oracle-on-freebsd for my
results. oracle works (cleanly and fast 8-), but I had no success
with DBD::Oracle.

http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/~mhmoolen/ has some pages on the
complete development env. for linux under fbsd 3.1 and other hints
on linux oracle with fbsd. Maybe DBD works with that. I had no time to
try it.
If someone makes a package out of this, that would be *cool* 8-)
